Instructions for self-inflating mat repair

– To locate a small puncture, inflate the mattress and blow some air by mouth into the mattress, then close the valve (first push in the valve and then lock it).
– Apply any liquid soap to wet the surface of the mattress. Small escaping bubbles will indicate the puncture.
– Mark the puncture.
– Clean and dry the surface around the puncture.
– Open the valve and release the air. Remove the cover from the patch. Press the patch so it covers the cut or tear.
– Two hours later, inflate the mattress and examine the repair.
